A Letter to the Student Body From the 125th President of the Union

Fellow students,

On behalf of the 2014-2015 Executive Board I would like to formally apologize for all of the misinformation and misunderstandings surrounding the Rensselaer Union Bookstore that have occurred over the past few weeks. I take full responsibility for the decision to not pass an official motion to approve the letter of intent to work with Follet and seek contract management for the RPI bookstore. Although not all information could be shared due to the NDA between ourselves, the consulting company, and Follet, I should have tried harder to identify the information that could have been shared with the student body and worked to publicize it more. 2015-2016 E-Board Applications Available

A message from the 126th President of the Union┬áNick Dvorak: In case you don't know me, my name is Nick Dvorak, and as of last Friday I was elected the 126th President of the Union. I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to work with all of you over the next year. Each incoming PU must solicit applications to become a member of the executive board, which they will select and preside over during their term. These individuals are selected based on a wide variety of aspects including leadership, commitment, and experience. Executive board reps will work actively to manage the multi-million dollar operating budget of the Union in addition to managing the activity fee, overseeing student clubs and organizations, and determining managing policies for the Union's facilities and resources.
